Virginia Cramer is a multi-media artist working in mixed media, paint, collage, and pastel. Born in Brooklyn NY, she took art classes at the Brooklyn Museum of Art as a child, where she fell in love with the discipline, and has been creating art ever since. An avid hiker and master gardener with a deep respect for nature, she is always hiking and photographing her natural surroundings, taking mental and photographic notes for future artwork. She currently lives in the Greater Lowell area of Massachusetts.

Cramer taught in the public schools for 27 years, working at the elementary level as well as teaching art at the middle and high school levels, including AP Art and digital photography.
She studied art at the Massachusetts College of Art, Boston’s MFA Museum School, The de Cordova Museum, in Lincoln MA, The Danforth Museum in Framingham MA, and Montserrat College of Art, in Beverly MA, A lifelong learner, she continues to take classes and workshops at various venues, always exploring new materials and techniques that could be incorporated into her studio practice.
Cramer exhibits her work in group and solo exhibitions.
