This winter series was inspired by walks through the fields, forests, and wetlands of Great Brook Farm State Park in Carlisle. Using layered paint, collage, and textured surfaces, these works explore the structures and rhythms of the winter landscape: dried grasses, tangled woods, and snow-covered ground. The series reflects both the physical landscape and the emotional experience of moving through it in winter.
